Every summer Sunday at the McCarren Pool in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, awesome bands perform for free (last week: The Breeders and Matt + Kim, next week The Liars!). There’s also HIGHLY competitive Dodgeball and a refreshing slip’n’slide offering athletic and aquatic fun for the sea of 20-something hipsters that flood the now empty pool. So we thought we’d take a moment and survey the looks that were tops among this trend-setting set.

Rompers, like this one by Elizabeth and James and vintage-style sundresses were all over the place.

We’re happy to see that gladiator sandals are still making an impact; we also love these flats from Dolce Vita and strappy metallic sandals from Sam Edelman at a price that can’t be beat!
