Here’s a refresher course on some of the top trends we’re loving right now, in case summer vacation (remember those?) has caused your mind to wander.

Yves Saint Laurent sure knows how to create a must-have bag. They’ve brought us the Muse and the Downtown, as of late, stellar selections both. This season, we’re going with the crocodile stamped Besace Messenger ($1995), shown here in anthracite. (”Besace” actually means “shoulder bag” in French. Go figure!) Try pairing it with YSL’s yummy red patent Tribute shoes ($685).
